MEDIA STATEMENT: Naturelink to become anchor tenant at Wonderboom Airport 27 January 2005

The African Christian Democratic Party welcomes the decision by the Council of the Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality today, to fast track the application by Naturelink to establish an "ultra modern aviation service centre" at the Council-owned Wonderboom Airport.

 

Naturelink have recently been appointed as the sole representative of EMBRAER, the large Brazilian Aircraft Manufacturing company. Naturelink plans to invest an amount of R25 million in new buildings, approximately R8 to R10 million in equipment, and around R300 million in spare parts.

 

As anchor tenant, Naturelink will give the Airport a much needed boost, and the ACDP wishes to use this opportunity to wish the new tenant and the Airport much success and prosperity to the benefit of our beautiful city.
